New Delhi is the capital city of India.  Where you can see many heritage monuments like India Gate, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Jantar Mantar, Parliament of India and Rashtrapati Bhavan also.

Today,  I will tell you, if you are going to Delhi or are planning so than what kind of precaution you should have in preparation.

First of all,  if you are travelling New Delhi by air, then take airport express metro to reach city. Other wise you can take taxi, cab as well. But if you are travelling Delhi by train then please be careful while choosing you destination railway station. There are four major railway stations in which Delhi is also called Old Delhi or Delhi Junction. New Delhi, Anand Vihar Railway Station and Sarai Rohilla Railway Station Apart from this, there are also small railway stations like Delhi Cant. But before arriving in Delhi, make sure on which railway station your train will reach and how far your destination is from there.

The same point is with Buses as well. There are three ISBTs or Interstate Bus Terminal in Delhi. These are Kashmere Gate, Anand Vihar and Sarai Kale Khan bus stop. For every state, buses runs normally from different bus terminals. If you are going from Jaipur to Delhi then your bus will go through the dhola kuya to Sarai Kale Khan and then Kashmiri Gate. If you want to take bus for Uttarakhand, it usually runs from Anand Vihar bus terminus. So always be sure about your bus.

As far as the hotel booking is concerned, please choose your hotel or accomadtion wisely. Alway do booking in advance.  Cheap hotels are available in Paharganj  near New Delhi  railway station but  decide as per your reqirement.

Now the question is how to move from one place to another in the capital area spread over 1500 square kilometers. The Metro is the easiest medium. The metro running on different lines covers almost all of Delhi. But you should be aware that what metro station is around where you want to go. Apart from this, there is bus service. Now let us also tell you about the city bus that three types of buses run in Delhi. Normal buses with low floor green and red and sentry colors. There are green and red government buses in which red is completely AC bus. Its fair also campativily higher.

 Always be careful while taking a CNG auto  in Delhi. And dont share any vehicle with other passanger in night. you can take Ola, Uber or other cabs. If you are going to Janpath Market, Connaught Place, Palika Bazar, Lajpatnagar, Sadar Bazar, Chandni Chowk Bazar, Sarojini Nagar Market in Delhi then always keep your papers, mobile and money in mind. Always keep your documents like passport at safe place and have enough local money in hand.

So if we take care of these five things, then the journey to Delhi will be quite easy.
